For this logo I went clean and crisp. I wanted to avoid any “extra,” although to make the “s,” stand out in the mark itself I wound up adding some minor shading. This logo functions well as a quasi-abstract letter mark that would look excellent even when separated from the word mark itself (for instance, in the corner of a video, images etc.)
This was originally designed for a baseball company (thus the diamond) but functions well for a technology company because of the somewhat severe and precise lines -as well as the font. It could be done in a variety of colored backgrounds (I’d love to see it in a neon col0r.) and would work well in most print and digital media.
